Location
Alibi Hostel is located in the centre of Leeuwarden in the former prison, “de Blokhuispoort”. You will find us on the first and second floor of cell block H. During the day you will find us by entering the main gates of the complex and walking all the way to the third and last courtyard.
You can take the stairs, or the elevator right next to the main entrance of the cell block to our reception on the second floor
After 01:00 however, the main gates will be closed and an alternative route is in use. Please check the plan of the Blokhuispoort on the map.
The Blokhuispoort houses several other facilities such as Restaurant Proefverlof with a terrace on the waterside, a library and some shops and ateliers such as Lies Keramiek.
